About 

Kerry is  an experienced Respiratory Nurse Specialist with advanced level practice and leadership skills, ccommitted to delivering high quality patient care, developing services and professional training in respiratory with a focus on Spirometry, COPD and asthma.

Kerry has been providing respiratory education since 2016, sharing knowledge and passion for all aspects of respiratory care. Kerry has worked in primary care for more than 20 years, specialising in respiratory from the very start. Currently working in community specialist services, delivering admission avoidance support and complex case management, as well as supporting early and accurate diagnosis for breathlessness patients. Kerry also continues to deliver specialist respiratory clinics in primary care, providing mentorship and support to empower surgeries to improve respiratory care.

Kerry is the prescribing lead with the Association of Respiratory Nurses (ARNS) and leads the Primary Care Respiratory Socity (PCRS) peer support group locally.

This is a bespoke service, ideally delivered in the workplace, designed to provide mentorship & support to teams or individuals. It can be used to consolidate prior learning, or work with teams to develop services.

Examples of previous consultancy work include mentoring individuals following training courses to consolidate learning & transfer theory into practice; running specialist diagnostic & management clinics; remote spirometry reporting to support a service; service improvement, developing processes & policies collaboratively, in-line with best practice & workplace education sessions, tailored to support a service.
